Destiny 2 has been releasing a huge expansion on a yearly basis, as well as roughly quarterly seasonal releases for the past few years. This year, we’re looking forward to the Lightfall expansion, as well as the usual complement of seasons, events, and more. February is going to be an exciting month for Destiny 2, with the release of a new expansion and a new Darkness power. Players will be able to experiment with Strand and visit the planet Neptune, where they will find new allies and battle the forces of Calus and Witness. We’ll also be getting a new season, for which we don’t have any details yet.
March
April — Destiny 2 2023 Calendar
April 11: Grandmaster Nightfalls is likely to be available for Season of the [Redacted]
Mid-April: Guardian Games likely to start
We typically have the Olympics-themed Guardian Games event in mid-April, and unless Bungie turns things around radically, then this event will likely return to Destiny 2.

May 23: Season of the [Redacted] Probably Starts Late May: Dungeon Season 21 Releases
If Bungie sticks to the twelve-week season release schedule, we’ll get a new Destiny 2 season at the end of May. Since we don’t yet know what the season release is with Lightfall, it’s impossible to speculate on what this one will look like. We’ll also be getting a new dungeon in Season 21, which will likely launch in late May or early June.
June
July
Mid-July: the solstice begins
We typically have the Summer Solstice event in mid-October, and unless Bungie turns things around radically, this event will likely return to Destiny 2.
August — Destiny 2 2023 Calendar
August 15: Season of the [Redacted] probably starts
If Bungie sticks to the twelve-week season release schedule, we’ll get a new Destiny 2 season in mid-August. Since we don’t yet know what the two seasons will be released with Lightfall and after, it’s impossible to speculate on what this one will look like.

October
Mid-October: Festival of the Lost begins
We typically have the Halloween-themed Festival of the Lost event in mid-October, and unless Bungie turns things around radically, then this event will likely return to Destiny 2.
November
November 7: Season of the [Redacted] Probably Starts Mid-November: Dungeon Season 23 Releases
If Bungie sticks to the twelve-week season release schedule, we’ll get a new Destiny 2 season in early November 2023. We’ll also get a new dungeon in Season 23, which will likely launch in November as well.
December — Destiny 2 2023 Calendar
